Bashar teaches that numbers are not merely quantities but carry qualities and dimensional 'signatures' — in his 'multi-dimensional mathematics,' each number corresponds to a particular state of consciousness (1 as unity/singularity, 3 as manifestation, 9 as completion, and so on), and sacred geometry is the visual expression of these numeric relationships. He describes symbols and ritual as a kind of belief technology: repeated symbolic action encodes intention into the subconscious and the energy field, with symbols acting as 'holographic compressors' that pack large amounts of information into a simple form the unconscious can process — though a ritual performed without conscious intent becomes empty superstition. Specific examples he gives include Pi as an ever-open, unfixed 'doorway' representing eternity, and tarot or similar tools as mirrors that trigger contact with the archetypal layer of the collective consciousness, read through the higher self rather than fixed meanings. He also treats recurring signs — a moth drawn to flame symbolizing hidden knowledge, or the color of the sky reflecting collective emotion — as largely arbitrary but useful conventions, valuable as triggers for intuition rather than literal codes.
