In Bashar's teachings, expectation is a key component of reality creation. Bashar distinguishes between 'positive expectation' (knowing that the universe supports you) and 'negative expectation' (insisting on a specific outcome out of fear). The latter blocks better possibilities that the higher self has arranged. Bashar's Formula emphasizes acting with 'zero insistence on outcome' — releasing expectation while maintaining positive anticipation.
