The End of Linear Time: What Comes Next
Bashar describes what the experience of time will be like for humanity as collective consciousness continues to rise — explaining how the rigid linear sequential experience of time softens into a more fluid, multidimensional awareness of time as your frequency increases.
I want to speak today about something that many of you will experience more and more as your individual and collective consciousness continues to expand: the softening of what I would call the tyranny of linear time.
In your current dominant mode of consciousness, time is experienced as a rigid, one-directional constraint. The past is fixed and cannot be changed. The future is unknown and must be anxiously anticipated. The present is a narrow, fleeting moment sandwiched between the irrevocable past and the uncertain future. You move through time like a train on fixed rails — one direction only, one track, no choice about the destination.
As consciousness expands — as individuals and as a civilization — this rigid linear experience begins to soften. The people in your civilization who are operating at higher frequencies often report changes in their experience of time that are consistent and recognizable. They report that time seems more flexible — that some moments seem to expand, containing much more experiential richness than their clock duration would suggest. They report a greater sense of being able to influence their experience of the pace of time through their state of consciousness. They report a greater comfort with non-linearity — with allowing experiences, insights, and creative ideas to arise in a more spiral, web-like pattern rather than insisting on strict sequential order.
These changes are the early signs of a shift in the fundamental relationship between consciousness and time that will, over the coming generations, become increasingly pronounced. As the collective frequency rises, the experience of time becomes progressively more fluid. What you now experience as the hard boundary between past and future softens into a more permeable membrane. The awareness of multiple simultaneous probabilities — of being able to sense the branching of possible futures from the present moment — becomes more accessible.
The destination of this evolution, in the fully expanded state of higher-density consciousness, is what I would describe as an experience of time as an ocean rather than a river — an infinite, multidimensional field within which any point can be visited, within which past and future are equally present, equally vivid, equally workable. This is my experience of time. And it is where your evolutionary trajectory is pointing.
