The Nature of Prophetic Vision

CHNL-TIME-017

Bashar explains that prophetic or precognitive experiences access the most probable timeline from the vantage point of the present moment, but that all visions of the future are changeable because consciousness has the power to shift to different probable realities at any moment.

The question of prophetic vision and precognition is one that touches many of you deeply, because many of you have experienced — either personally or through others — moments of apparently accurate knowledge about events that had not yet occurred. And this experience creates a significant philosophical question: if the future can be seen, is it fixed? Is it predetermined? Do we have genuine choice?

Let me explain how this actually works from the perspective of how time and probability function together. At any given moment, there exists not a single future but a vast field of probable futures — a spectrum of possible timelines, each carrying a different probability density. The most probable timeline from any given moment of consciousness is the one that most directly continues the trajectory of the current belief systems, intentions, and vibrational frequency of the consciousness in question.

Precognitive experience — the apparent vision of a future event — is the perception of this most probable timeline. It is not seeing 'the' future; it is seeing 'a' future — specifically, the future that is most likely to manifest given the current conditions of consciousness. This is an important distinction, because it means the vision is conditional. It depends on those conditions remaining the same.

And here is the liberating truth: the conditions of consciousness are always changeable. Every moment you make a genuine choice — to shift a belief, to act with greater alignment, to choose a higher frequency — you change the probability density of the futures available to you. A vision of a negative future that catalyzes genuine inner transformation is actually fulfilling its highest purpose: it is showing you a probable reality specifically so that you can choose differently.

This is why the most accurate prophets in your history are often also the most insistent that the future they are describing is not inevitable. They are showing you the most probable trajectory precisely so that you have the information needed to choose a different one. A prophecy that creates positive change in the consciousness that receives it has succeeded, even if the event it described never occurs.
