Time Travel — The Physics of Consciousness Navigation

CHNL-TIME-012

Bashar addresses time travel — confirming that consciousness can navigate non-linearly through time and explaining why physical time travel as depicted in science fiction has paradoxes that resolve in a parallel-realities framework.

Time travel, in the sense your science fiction depicts it — a physical machine that carries a physical person backward or forward through the same timeline, arriving at the same world they left but at a different moment — is not possible in the way imagined, because it contains fundamental logical contradictions. But this does not mean time is impenetrable or that non-linear navigation through time is impossible. It simply means the physics works differently than the fiction imagines.

Here is the framework that resolves the apparent paradoxes: all possible moments exist simultaneously in the larger structure of what you might call the spacetime manifold. What moves through this structure is not a physical object traveling through time — it is consciousness shifting its point of focus within the manifold. Time travel, properly understood, is consciousness-navigation — the ability of awareness to shift its attentional focus from one coordinate of the spacetime manifold to another.

This type of navigation does occur. Certain trained practitioners — your remote viewers, your deep meditators, your visionary artists — access non-linear time perception regularly. Prophetic experience, the accurate sensing of what is about to happen, is a mild form of this navigation. So is the vivid, first-person experience of accessing what feels like a past-life memory: in that experience, consciousness is genuinely shifting its attentional focus to a different temporal coordinate and perceiving from there.

The 'grandfather paradox' — if you went back in time and killed your grandfather, you would never have been born to go back in time — resolves easily in the parallel realities framework. If you 'travel' to the past and change something, you have not altered your own timeline's past. You have branched into a parallel timeline where your intervention is part of the history. Your original timeline is unaffected. The parallel timelines are real; they coexist in the manifold. Consciousness navigating non-linearly through time is always, in effect, moving between parallel versions of the spacetime structure.
