The Holographic Universe: You Are the Projector

CHNL-SCI-003

Reality functions like a hologram: the whole is encoded in every part, and the observer is not separate from the observed. Bashar uses the holographic model to explain how individual consciousness contains — and generates — the totality of experienced reality.

Some of your scientists and philosophers have proposed something they call the holographic principle — the idea that reality might function like a hologram, where the information about the whole is contained in every part. I find this a very useful model for understanding the nature of consciousness and reality, and I want to expand on it.

You know what a hologram is. If you take a holographic image and cut it in half, and shine a laser through either half, you do not get half the image. You get the whole image, slightly less clearly. If you cut it into a hundred pieces and illuminate any one piece, you still get the whole image, more diffusely. The information about the whole is not stored in any one location in the hologram — it is distributed throughout every part. Every piece contains the totality.

Now apply this to consciousness. You are not a small piece of a large universe, receiving information from outside yourself about what the universe contains. You are a point of consciousness that contains — within itself — the totality of all that is. All of creation is within you, at the level of potential. Your physical experience is the holographic projection of that interior totality, focused through the lens of your current beliefs, definitions, and vibrational state.

This is why I can tell you that when you change on the inside — when you genuinely shift a belief, when you genuinely change your state of being — the outside world reflects that change. It is not that the outside world is watching you and deciding to respond. It is that the outside world is a projection of your interior world. Change the projector, and the projection changes.

Here is the implication that I find most extraordinary. If every point of consciousness contains the whole, then you contain everything you could ever want to experience. Not in a distant or potential sense — literally. The love you are seeking is inside you. The abundance you desire is inside you. The wisdom you are searching for is inside you. The peace you long for is inside you. These are not metaphors. They are descriptions of the holographic nature of consciousness.

What does this mean practically? It means the search is always inward. Not that you stop engaging with the external world — the external world is how you experience the interior world in physical form. But the primary creative movement is always inward. Shift the interior, and the exterior rearranges to match. This is not a one-time process. It is a continuous, moment-by-moment, ongoing creation. You are always projecting. The only question is what you are projecting from.

You are the hologram and the projector and the screen all at once. The universe you experience is not happening to you. It is happening through you. From you. As you.
