UFO Disclosure — Reading the Signs of Change
Bashar comments on the increasing mainstream acknowledgment of UAP/UFO phenomena by governments and institutions — what this trend means, why it is happening now, and what it portends for the larger contact process.
The gradual disclosure of what your military and governmental institutions have known about the UFO and UAP phenomenon is significant. Not so much for the specific pieces of information being revealed — much of that information is incomplete, filtered, and reflects the limited understanding of the institutions releasing it — but as a social and consciousness phenomenon: as a signal that the threshold of collective readiness is shifting.
For many decades, the official position of your major governments on the extraterrestrial question was denial — a denial that was maintained through a combination of genuine institutional uncertainty, fear-based assessment of public reaction, and, in some cases, deliberate suppression of information that was considered destabilizing. The shift from denial to acknowledgment — even the partial, carefully managed acknowledgment that has been occurring — represents a significant change in the collective psychological permission structure.
Why now? Several factors are converging. The technology for independent documentation has become so democratized — virtually every person on your planet now carries a high-resolution camera and immediate broadcast capability — that the institutional capacity to suppress visual evidence has been overwhelmed. The generation now in positions of authority within your institutions includes many individuals who have either had their own unexplained experiences or who were not raised with the deep cultural investment in the denial narrative that older generations held.
And there is a feedback loop with consciousness: as the collective consciousness threshold rises, contact events become more frequent and more visible, which normalizes the concept, which raises the threshold further. The disclosure process is in part a response to a change that is already occurring at the consciousness level rather than the other way around.
What should you take from this? Not alarm. Not triumph. Simply recognition: the evidence of what your species has always been surrounded by — a vast, active, participating community of consciousness extending far beyond your planetary boundaries — is becoming too obvious to maintain official denial about. The question is no longer whether. It is when, and on what terms, and from what state of collective readiness, the full acknowledgment comes.
