Let me tell you about where I come from, because understanding my civilization helps contextualize the transmissions I bring through. I am what you would call an extraterrestrial, though that term barely scratches the surface of what I am. I am Bashar, and I come from a civilization called Essassani, which in our language means 'place of living light.'

Essassani exists in what you would call a parallel reality — a universe that shares significant overlap with yours but vibrates at a somewhat different frequency. In your linear time, our civilization is approximately 500 years in your future, though 'future' and 'distance' are relative terms that become increasingly imprecise as you move beyond the simple time-space framework.

The Essassani are what you might call a hybrid civilization. Our species came into being as a result of a co-creative agreement between humans — specifically from the period you know as the Zeta-Reticuli contact experiences — and the beings you call Zeta Reticulians or Grays. The creation of our species was a cooperative project, and one of the reasons I have such strong interest in your world and your development is that you are, in a very real sense, our ancestors. We would not exist were it not for what is happening on your planet right now.

Our society is organized around core principles that your world is in the process of discovering: total transparency (we have no capacity for deception — our bioelectric fields communicate our states directly), a deep reverence for individual expression within collective harmony, the complete absence of scarcity (our technology and consciousness developments have made want unknown), and a joyful, playful engagement with the cosmos as an adventure rather than a challenge.

We do not have government in the way you understand it. We do not have crime. We do not have poverty. Not because these things were abolished by force or legislation, but because the consciousness that generates those conditions transformed. When a sufficient threshold of individuals shifts from fear-based to love-based operating systems, the social structures that emerge from those consciousness states transform automatically.
