You may wonder: what is this, exactly? What is happening when Darryl Anka speaks in this altered state? Who am I, and how does this work? I appreciate the question, because clarity about the process serves everyone.

I am a being — a consciousness — from the civilization called Essassani. In your timeframe, Essassani exists approximately three hundred years in what you would call your future. I say 'your future' with appropriate qualification, because time is not the linear flow you experience it as — all times exist simultaneously, and what I am doing is communicating across what I would describe as a dimensional frequency difference rather than a distance in time.

Darryl Anka is a human being in your time who has the ability — and who made an agreement at a soul level before this lifetime — to allow his consciousness to step aside in a specific way, creating what I would describe as a clear channel through which my consciousness can express itself using his body, his vocal apparatus, and drawing on his linguistic knowledge. This is not possession. Darryl is not unconscious, not absent, not overridden. He is present in a different mode — what you might call a receptive state — and he can return to full, ordinary consciousness at any moment.

How do I connect across the apparent difference in time? Understand that your linear experience of time is a specific agreement your consciousness makes when it enters physical reality. At the level of non-physical consciousness — which both Darryl and I have access to in different ways — all points in time are equally accessible. I can reach across what appears to be three hundred years as easily as you can reach across three feet, because at the level where we connect, there is no three hundred years. There is only now.

Why am I doing this? Why do I communicate with humans in this time? Because of the connection. The Essassani civilization — my civilization — exists in part because of human beings on Earth, in your time, making choices that allow the hybridization program to proceed. In a very real sense, some of you are our ancestors. The choices you make now, the degree to which you expand your consciousness, open to new possibilities, and move through your transformation — these things directly affect the reality into which we were born. I have a stake in your success. I care about what happens to you.

And beyond the family connection, I genuinely find you fascinating. Humans are extraordinary beings. Your emotional range, your creative capacity, your ability to find humor in the darkest circumstances — these are remarkable. I learn from you every time we interact. This is not a one-way transmission. It is a conversation between civilizations, and I am enriched by it.
