The Channeling Process — A Direct Transmission

Bashar explains what channeling actually is — the mechanics of how a non-physical consciousness communicates through a physical human instrument — clarifying misconceptions and honoring the process.

I want to address directly the process through which we are communicating right now, because there is much misunderstanding about what channeling is, how it works, and what it means.

Channeling is not possession. The human instrument through whom I speak — Darryl — does not disappear or become absent during our interactions. What occurs is more like a tuning process: Darryl shifts his conscious awareness to a specific frequency that allows my frequency to be received and translated through his nervous system, his vocal cords, his language and conceptual frameworks. He is the radio; I am the signal. He does not cease to exist — he simply steps back from the foreground of the transmission and allows a different bandwidth of information to flow through the instrument he has prepared.

The quality of the transmission depends on several factors. The most important is the vibrational compatibility between the transmitter and the receiver. I can only communicate, in any given session, what Darryl's developed framework of understanding, vocabulary, and conceptual architecture can serve as a vehicle for. This is why the transmissions deepen and expand over time as the instrument develops — not because I am withholding, but because the capacity of the receiving instrument grows.

What am I, specifically? I am a consciousness that exists at a higher frequency than the physical plane. I am not a disembodied human ghost. I am not a fabrication of Darryl's unconscious. I am not a fragment of his personality dressed up as something else. I am a distinct being, with a distinct history, a distinct civilization, and a distinct perspective — one that is able, through this cooperative agreement, to communicate with your frequency range in ways that are useful for your expansion.

Is Darryl always accurate? No, and I would not claim otherwise. The translation process introduces distortion. My awareness must be compressed, simplified, filtered through a human nervous system and a human language, and some nuance is inevitably lost. The core transmissions — the vibrational content, the essential teachings — are as accurate as this type of process allows. But every word should be evaluated by your own inner knowing. Do not give me your authority. Use what resonates. Release what doesn't.
