The Triangle: Acting with Zero Attachment
Bashar's 'triangle' teaching combines follow your excitement, take action to the best of your ability, and have zero attachment to the outcome. Attachment to specific outcomes blocks the infinite ways the universe can deliver what you need; trust and openness allow it.
I have given you the formula for following your excitement. Now I want to address the piece that most people struggle with, the piece that makes the whole formula either work or not work: zero attachment to the outcome.
Notice I do not say zero preference. You can have preferences. It is natural to prefer certain outcomes over others. Preferences are fine. What I am talking about is attachment — the insistence that your desired outcome must show up in a specific form, through a specific channel, on a specific timeline. That insistence — that rigidity — is what blocks the infinite creativity of the universe in delivering what you want.
Here is the mechanism. When you follow your excitement and take action, you are broadcasting a signal — a frequency — that says: I am aligned, I am open, I am moving toward my highest version. The universe receives that signal and begins organizing the delivery of what matches your frequency. But here is the key: the universe's delivery mechanisms are infinitely creative. The thing you want may come through a channel you never imagined, in a form you didn't expect, on a timeline you couldn't predict. It may come in a way that looks, at first, like it isn't coming at all — and then suddenly everything shifts at once.
When you are attached — when you insist the universe must deliver it in your specific way — you are essentially telling the universe: ignore all the other infinite pathways. Use only this one. And if the universe cannot use that specific pathway in that specific way in that specific timeframe, you have just blocked your own delivery.
Think of it this way. You want a package delivered. You follow your excitement — you place the order, you do everything in your power to be ready to receive it. Good. Now: do you need to specify which truck it comes on, which street the driver turns down, what time of day it arrives? Of course not. You trust that the delivery system knows how to deliver. You just stay ready to receive. That is zero attachment.
The formula is a triangle. Point one: follow your excitement. Point two: act on it to the best of your ability. Point three: have zero attachment to the outcome, the form, the channel, the timing. All three points must be present for the triangle to hold together. The excitement without action is just dreaming. The action without excitement is just grinding. And either of those, combined with attachment to outcome, introduces resistance that slows or blocks the manifestation.
Trust the universe. Not blindly — intelligently. You have good reason to trust, because the universe has an investment in your success that is at least as strong as yours. It wants you to thrive. It wants you to express. It wants you to create. It is working with you, not against you. Your job is not to control the delivery. Your job is to be the most aligned, most genuine, most excited version of yourself — and then let the universe do what it is extraordinarily good at: getting you exactly what you need, in exactly the right way, at exactly the right time.
